The founders were full of love. And where is love, there will be children. So they were born:
Alpha, daughter of Aquarius and Capricorn.
Beta, son of Cancer and Sagittarius.
Gamma, daughter of Pisces and Scorpio.
Delta, son of Aries and Taurus.
Epsilon, daughter of Libra and Virgo.
Zeta, son of Gemini and Taurus.
Eta, daughter of Gemini and Taurus.
Theta, daughter of Libra and Virgo.
Iota, daughter of Aquarius and Capricorn.
Kappa, son of Pisces and Scorpio.
Lambda, son of Libra and Virgo.
Mu, son of Aquarius and Capricorn.
Nu, daughter of Pisces and Scorpio.
Xi, son of Aries and Taurus.
The founders were fertile. Too fertile. The piece of land they had picked for themselves could not feed all of their children.
Land was no longer friendly to them.
It took one of them as a warning.
And so they worried. They needed to leave, but where to?
But Alpha, the first born, had a dream. In this dream, four animal went north. Those animals were a black wolf, a brown bear, a red deer, and a yellow boar. So Alpha went to speak with Aries, first born of the founders, to find out whether her dream could become true. And Aries told her to speak her dream to all of founders.
So Alpha did. She spoke how this land that had guarded them so long could not do it anymore. How the earths and skies both seemed to want them leave. She spoke of her dream, of the animals going north. She spoke that they should do the same. They should separate themselves by their colour of hair, like animals separated themselves by their colour of fur, and each group should follow the animal of their colour, and so they will surely find a new land that will guard and feed them.
And eleven founders (eleven, because earth and sky had already taken one of them) talked and though and worried. They knew they had to go. But they did not know where. They knew they had to separate. But they did not know how. Alpha’s dream answered that. But was it worth to go to unknown, leave this land of plenty they were born in? And they remembered how they had came together, because they did not want to just be, they wanted to be more, to find and change. Leaving the lands they knew would do that. Everything will change, there were new lands to find. And so they decided.
They will go and follow the animal-tracks to the north, into unknown.
